Leigh Rouse - Owner and Senior Ecologist

Leigh Rouse, owner of Bristlecone, has been a field biologist since 1991 and specializes in environmental impact analysis, Section 404 permitting, wetland delineation and mitigation, and compliance with the Endangered Species Act. She is an experienced botanist and can map vegetation communities and perform rare plant surveys. She also assists clients with National Environmental Policy Act compliance and has worked on and managed numerous Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements. Leigh’s experience managing multi-disciplinary projects has given her knowledge of a wide range of resource areas. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the issues and regulations aid in providing successful project management, preparing and reviewing technical reports, performing field studies, managing schedules and personnel, preparing budgets, and coordinating with agencies and subcontractors to help clients during the environmental review process.
