Recent Projects

Lazy Glen Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project EA, Pitkin County, CO -The Lazy Glen Homeowners Association required a federal loan through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Utilities Services to improve its wastewater treatment. Bristlecone assisted Lazy Glen in complying with USDA NEPA regulations by preparing an Environmental Assessment and coordinating with the agencies.

​Northern Integrated Supply Project EIS, Larimer and Weld counties, CO - The Northern Integrated Supply Project is a regional water supply project coordinated by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District with an Environmental Impact Statement led by the Army Corps of Engineers. Bristlecone continues to provide support to the Corps by managing day-to-day tasks, preparing a Biological Assessment, preparing budgets and schedules, reviewing technical reports, and managing the administrative record.

Lafayette Water Supply and Transmission Improvement Project, CO  After assisting the City of Lafayette with its Boulder County 1041 permit, Bristlecone is assisting the City with wetland delineations, Section 404 permitting, Endangered Species Act compliance, pre-construction nest surveys, Boulder County species of concern surveys, reclamation plans, weed management, raptor nest monitoring, and construction monitoring.
